Our Riverboats
MISSISSIPPI EXPLORER Eco-Boats are uniquely designed and capable of navigating in shallow areas of the Mississippi Wildlife Refuge inaccessible to other commercial vessels. Our fleet of seven Mississippi Explorer vessels are U.S. Coast Guard inspected, certified, and built to stringent safety standards. All our vessels offer guided tours with narration's from local experts.
Our specially designed enclosed vessels offer your group event protection from the cold, heat and inclement weather. Other onboard amenities offer guests relaxing and comfortable cruises.
- All vessels are U.S. Coast Guard certified and inspected.
- Our Captains are licensed by the U.S. Coast Guard.
- Our Crewmembers are enrolled in a required U.S. Coast Guard DAPA program.
Mississippi Explorer I
Will comfortably accommodate up to 49 passengers. Amenities include: Sun deck, cabin, rest room, PA/music system, carpet, padded seating, and much more. This eco-boat is a true wildlife viewing vessel and has outstanding, 360 degree, eagle-watching capabilities.
Mississippi Explorer II
Offers seating for 20 passengers and can be brought to your location for special events. This is the ideal boat for a smaller group without sacrificing quality!
Mississippi Explorer III
New in 2007. U.S.C.G. inspected and rated to carry up to 98 passengers. Amenities include: Open front deck, spacious cabin, air conditioning and heat, large viewing windows, rest room, PA/entertainment system, carpet, padded seating, and much more.
This specially designed enclosed vessel offers your group event protection from the cold, heat, and inclement weather. Although enclosed, the large sliding glass windows and doors allow great wildlife viewing in all kinds of weather conditions!
Mississippi Explorer IV
Comfortably accommodates up to 64 passengers. Amenities include: Deck, spacious cabin, service bar, heater/air conditioner system, large viewing windows, rest room, PA/music system, carpet, seating, AC power and much more.

Mississippi "Jon-Boat" Explorer
This specially designed flat bottomed vessel is ideal for the 'ultimate' refuge tour and offers chartered guest [maximum 6 passengers] 2 hour scenic, in depth and comprehensive guided refuge tours. Visiting areas deep in the refuge that our other vessels do not. The perfect trip for family, friends and small groups.
